Marc Bell re-ignites his old favourite Worn Tuff Elbow with this new exciting issue. Picking up where Stroppy (D&Q) left off, Bell ties more of his characters together here in his goofball paracosmic world: Shrimpy and Paul and Chia-Man make their triumphant return to the comics page in 'Tinkle Test', a tale of personal estrangement and All-Star Schnauzer Band bureaucracy. Other yarns include 'Bologna Buffet' and 'The Ten-Eyed One Visits an Art Gallery'. There also a wonderful tale of Monsieur Moustache's involvement with the yellow cylindrical characters known as "Remote Villagers" (established circa 1993). And if that wasn’t enough, there is a pre-emptive letters column (some letters Marc wrote to others), a chapter from EW GAWD by the lovable Sedberg & Lilycups and an absolutely fabulous back cover: a diorama of Shrimpy and Paul fashioned by Nathan Campagnaro. Note to consumers: one need not know exactly what happened in Worn Tuff Elbow #1 or other Marc Bell comics as these stories are stand-alones that will only tie into the bigger whole and spill into subsequent issues.
